BactoSonic BS 14.2 è progettato per distaccare i biofilm dalle superfici mediante sonicazione a bassa intensità, preparando il materiale alle successive analisi microbiologiche. Il trattamento e la coltura vanno eseguiti secondo il protocollo applicabile.

La soluzione comprende il bagno e accessori dedicati al contenimento e al posizionamento dei campioni. La scelta del recipiente dipende da dimensioni e geometria del componente.
